GEICO is undergoing a transformation into a product and tech-powered company and is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner with the VP of Product Management for Claims to ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities, improve operational efficiency, and foster cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or business operations in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven experience working in a senior leadership or Chief of Staff role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects.
- Highly analytical with a strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within claims, insurance, or a highly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with product management principles, agile methodologies, and working in cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of no-code or low-code platforms, claims transformation, and digital product innovation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP of Product Management to define and execute the strategic roadmap for Claims, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Design, implement, and optimize internal processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Act as a liaison between the Product Management, Claims, and other departments (e.g., Technology, Operations…), ensuring alignment and seamless communication across teams.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and updates for key stakeholders, including C-suite leadership.
- Oversee and manage strategic initiatives and special projects across the Claims organization, ensuring they are completed on time and with the desired outcomes.
- Provide the VP with data-driven insights, prepare for meetings, and help prioritize decisions that will have the most significant impact on the organization.
- Oversee resource allocation within the Product Management team to ensure optimal use of personnel and tools for project success.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
