Farm Journal Inc. is looking to drive overall revenue growth and strategic market expansion, including P&L responsibility for legacy media products.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in commercial roles within data publishing, business intelligence, or SaaS industries.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth, scaling teams, and improving customer retention and acquisition.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams with alignment on sales, marketing, and commercial operations.
  • Solid track record of managing expenses and resources to maximize profit.
  • Expertise in subscription, licensing, and enterprise sales models.
  • Experience with AI-driven analytics, machine learning, and automation in sales or commercial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement company-wide commercial and revenue strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Lead and manage sales, marketing, customer success, and business development teams to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new opportunities, including market expansion, partnerships, and pricing models.
  • Oversee revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and/or commercial performance analytics.
  • Optimize go-to-market strategies for data and business intelligence products.
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to ensure product-market fit and drive revenue.
  • Work in concert with other COE executives to maximize profitability on print, broadcast, event, market advisory and custom products.

Other

  • Degree and/or clearly demonstrated skillset growth in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.
  • Solid understanding of the agricultural market value chain is a key differentiator.
  • This role is either hybrid in our corporate office in Kansas City or remote. Travel required, approximately 35-40%.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
