Panasonic Energy is seeking interns to contribute to cutting-edge AI research and development, transforming innovative ideas into practical prototypes and scalable solutions for the world's largest lithium-ion battery initiative.

Requirements

  • Design, experiment, and evaluate deep learning models across varied data types such as imaging, Lidar, acoustic, and tabular datasets.
  • Translate complex research papers into implementable algorithms and novel approaches.
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality production code using Python or C++.
  • Build prototypes and infrastructure to move ideas from concept to scalable solutions.
  • Visualize and communicate results through presentations, notebooks, and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience acquired through internships, jobs, research, or personal projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design, experiment, and evaluate deep learning models across varied data types such as imaging, Lidar, acoustic, and tabular datasets.
  • Translate complex research papers into implementable algorithms and novel approaches.
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality production code using Python or C++.
  • Build prototypes and infrastructure to move ideas from concept to scalable solutions.
  • Visualize and communicate results through presentations, notebooks, and documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams and business divisions to apply AI solutions in products and processes.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing expertise in AI/ML applications and methodologies.

  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time the internship begins and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, O-1, TN, L-1, or other employment-based visas) to participate in the program or for a fulltime role after graduation. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.
