Tetra Tech is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting federal, municipal, and private development projects, assisting with the design of various infrastructure components and learning from experienced professionals.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software (coursework or project experience preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Assist with grading and drainage design using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Support stormwater management and erosion control tasks
- Contribute to the design of water distribution and sanitary sewer systems
- Help prepare engineering reports, construction drawings, and cost estimates
- Perform basic calculations and data analysis for design support

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing in a professional consulting environment
- Occasional fieldwork or survey/mapping support may be part of the role.
