Stantec is looking for interns to help solve complex challenges in community development, transforming land into real projects by balancing physical site conditions, public expectations, fiscal requirements, and environmental constraints.
Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Requires understanding or interest in basic AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Responsibilities
- Gather project data
- Prepare and assemble reports and drawings
- Perform routine calculations
- Assist with CAD drafting and design, and preparation of construction documents
- Observe and attend meetings with design team, and other project stakeholders
- Other related tasks as assigned
Other
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
- Ability to work independently
- Must have a good driving record, and valid driver’s license
- In progress towards earning a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
