Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern (Roadway Design) to join their Transportation team to assist in solving complex transportation client challenges by gaining hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and applying academic knowledge to real-world civil engineering challenges.
Requirements
- In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Completed coursework related to transportation engineering, highway design or airport design
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil3D software
Responsibilities
- Help prepare technical reports and design documentation
- Participate in site visits to observe roadway conditions and data collection processes
- Assist in roadway geometric design calculations and layout
- Support the development of roadway alignment and cross-section plans
Other
- 3.0 GPA
- Must be at least a rising Junior
- A previous internship related to your field of study
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
