RS&H seeks a Civil Engineering Intern to assist on conventional and design-build projects, combining innovative roadway design with technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic engineering principles
- AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience
- Computer-assisted design software and equipment
- Specific interest in Transportation/Roadway Design
Responsibilities
- Perform routine calculations requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
- Prepare and revise plan documents details
- Collect and prepare data for evaluation
- Perform engineering tasks with the use of computer-assisted design software and equipment
- Provide support to engineering and project management associates
Other
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited university
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Strong work ethic aligning with the company’s
- 2.5 GPA or above
