Toole Design Group in Pittsburgh, PA is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Civil Engineering Manager to lead an existing team of talented and inspired engineers delivering roadway reconstruction, trail design, and multimodal projects that improve safety and the public realm throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Requirements
- A Professional Engineering license in PA (other Mid-Atlantic states is a plus)
- At least 10 years of engineering experience developing construction documents, preparing plans, specifications and estimates for bidding
- At least 5 years serving in a project management role overseeing 5 or more complex projects through completion
- A broad knowledge base in civil engineering, with specific experience in roadway (or highway) grading, drainage design, geometric design, 3D modeling and design of accessible public spaces
- Experience obtaining transportation and local agency permit documents for bid/advertisement
- General experience leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating utility and right-of-way impacts, street lighting, traffic signal, and landscape/hardscape layout
- Proficiency in Computer Automated Design (CADD)
