Corewell Health is seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our Claims Value Stream for the Summer 2026 semester to work on claims payment integrity and accuracy, reducing provider and member abrasion.
Requirements
Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Familiarity with Python, C-Sharp, SQL, GitHub, Angular, and AWS
Analytical thinker - given requirements, able to identify different scenarios.
Attention to detail - is inquisitive and constantly ask the right questions to grow and improve processes
Problem solver – can troubleshoot defects
Collaborator – can work with an Agile team
Responsibilities
Participates enthusiastically in all phases of design, development, and testing of new or updating software features.
Actively participates in our Agile team which includes attending our daily standups, story refinements, sprint retrospectives, and program increment planning.
Assists with testing.
Assists with creating testing scenarios.
Updates documentation.
Assists with identifying and keeping track of bugs.
Prepares summaries for action items.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Communicator - able to clearly articulate status, and communicate any issues to the team clearly
Recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program
