Great American Insurance Group's Claims IT team is looking for a Technical Analyst Intern to help with gathering and analyzing business requirements, and creating and maintaining documentation to improve technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and provide a competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Ability to read/decipher data models/schema
- Ability to read and write SQL queries
- Involved in application testing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of TOAD application
- Data warehouse concepts to include understanding of front-end data entry and back-end data consumption
- SQL Server Management Studio experience
Responsibilities
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements
- Creating and maintaining documentation such as user stories, process flows, and requirements.

- Junior in college, pursuing a bachelor's or master's in computer science or data analytics
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Hybrid schedule (3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote)
