GA-Intelligence is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Lead to join their Global Situational Awareness team to shape the future of situational awareness capabilities for their customers by leveraging software engineering, team leadership, and product development expertise to deliver high-quality products on time.
Requirements
- Experience with containerization architectures such as Docker Compose or Kubernetes
- Supporting experience to execute against database technologies such as PostgreSQL
- Experienced with Git or other software version control systems
- Experienced with Java, Scala, Python, Go, or other object-oriented programming language
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling (Gitlab CI/CD, ArgoCD, CircleCI, Jenkins)
- Capable of representing the organization as a prime technical contact
- Prior professional experience in software development role
Responsibilities
- Get things done with a team to deliver software solutions to customers
- Build and lead a team of talented engineers to design, develop, and deliver novel tools
- Formulate plans and guide implementation of software solutions
- Design and guide the implementation of scalable architectures for real-time and batch data processing
- Document technical concepts, system architectures, and implementation details
- Communicate with domain experts, users, and management throughout the software development lifecycle
- Supervise and guide the output of software engineers
Other
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in computer science, information systems, or related discipline
- Six or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, four or more years of experience with a master's degree, or two or more years with a PhD
