Ascension Data Science Institute is looking to interpret and manage clinical data from multiple sources to drive analytics and statistical reports, acting as a conduit between analytic and technical teams to guide the use of clinical data and determine its appropriateness for customer requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years Data analysis experience
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud computing environment
- Previous clinical/EHR data experience
- Proficiency with SQL or other data manipulation language
Responsibilities
- Manages and interprets a wide variety of clinical or EHR based data
- Formulates and helps to define the scope or format of reports
- Uses clinical knowledge, background, or experience to guide analytic needs
- Compiles clinical data to meet customer requirements or analytic needs
- Work with members of technical teams to determine data availability, robustness, and fitness for release
- Identifies trends within data and makes recommendations for quality improvement
Other
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in clinical field
- Healthcare experience including hospital, clinic, or public health
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
