Requirements
- Bachelors from a recognized college or university in a health-related field with a focus on quality
- 5 years of clinical data abstraction experience
- 3 years previous experience in healthcare, information management, clinical data abstraction, data analysis, or quality role
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the organization and analysis of data in support of process improvement initiatives for various clinical areas and programs
- Abstract and enter data into the required databases
- Develop and generate outcomes reports and disseminate them to applicable parties
- Act as an educational resource for other members of the clinical data registry
- Responsible for data collection and validation for various reports/projects on an ongoing basis
Other
- Bachelors Degree Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- If RN, current R.N. licensure in the state of Georgia
- 3 years previous experience in healthcare, information management, clinical data abstraction, data analysis, or quality role
- 5 years of clinical data abstraction experience
