Rogers Behavioral Health is looking to solve the problem of providing high-quality nutrition care to inpatients, residents, and outpatients, including those with eating disorders, by hiring a Clinical Dietitian.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Dietetics, or related field, or bachelor's degree if licensed prior to 2024.
  • One (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Obtain and maintain state certification (up to 90-days post hire allowed).
  • Formal training in crisis prevention and intervention is required within sixty (60) days of date of hire.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification is required within thirty (30) days of date of hire.
  • Certified Dietitian - CertCert, Registered Dietitian - CertCert
  • Aware of and understand Joint Commission and other regulatory agency compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts nutrition assessments and follow-ups for patients with increased risk according to Rogers’ policies and best practice standards, documenting all care in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Performs the nutrition care process, including assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and monitoring/evaluation.
  • Develops and implements individualized nutrition care plans based on patient medical goals and objectives.
  • Recommends transitional feedings (enteral to oral intake and vice-versa) and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for appropriate administration of nutrition therapies.
  • Educates patients and/or family members on nutritional needs as indicated.
  • Serves as a resource for medical staff and allied health professionals regarding nutritional status and needs.
  • Participates in the Rogers Operating Systems (ROS) program and follows standard workflow processes.

Other

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care to patients.
  • Adheres to all Roger’s policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient’s rights.
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal, patient centered care.
  • Observes weekend on-call and holiday rotation expectations.
  • Meets Clinical Dietitian I annual requirements within 12 months of hire, as outlined in RBH Registered Dietitian Clinical Ladder Portfolio Checklist.
