The hospital is looking to advance and ensure the safety of medical device technology by managing clinical engineering activities, equipment planning, project coordination, and safety management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a clinical engineer
- Working knowledge of medical equipment and device technology
- Knowledge of cybersecurity associated with medical devices
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communications strategy for managing projects
- Maintain the hospital capital lifecycle plan and recommendations
- Collaborate with all departments to understand the needs of their medical Equipment needs
- Maintain a working knowledge of medical equipment and device technology
- Participate as a member on project teams related to new construction and Space planning to assure technology needs are addressed
- Manage the Cyber security associated with medical devices to assure the risks Associated with medical devices are reduced
- Oversee and manage the computerized maintenance management system to Assure that medical devices are inventoried and receive necessary Maintenance
Other
- 5 years of experience as a clinical engineer necessary
- Bachelor's Degree required

- Ability to communicate with enterprise leadership on the status of all projects
