The Ohio State University's Psychiatry department is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support clinical research studies by assisting with implementation, coordination, participant recruitment, and data management.
Requirements
- computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired
- experience in phlebotomy desired
- experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired
- experience in research capacity desired
- knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired
Responsibilities
- assists with implementation and coordination of studies
- participates in recruitment of study participants
- schedule patients' visit
- performs visit procedures (collect medical history, vital signs, EKGs)
- enter data in sponsor databases
- process biological samples
Other
- Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field.
- Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
- A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
