The Ohio State University's Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist in the planning, design, execution, and management of research projects investigating neuromotor dysfunction. This role will involve working with human subjects, collecting and analyzing data, and contributing to the preparation of research publications and funding proposals.
Requirements
- performs advanced biomechanical, electroencephalographic (EEG), and functional testing techniques
- collects, analyzes and interprets research data
- assists with development and implementation of new and/or revised research methodologies and techniques
- tests experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods and make recommendations for utilization
- assists in the preparation of research papers and manuscripts for publication and presentation at national and conferences and workshops, and in the writing of project reports, articles and other documents
- assists principal investigator in the preparation of proposals to obtain new or renewal of extramural funding in support of research
- 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

- oversees and coordinates periodic maintenance and testing of laboratory equipment

- participates in recruitment, enrollment, and intervention delivery among human subjects with cancer and/or neurological deficits
- manages daily operations of the laboratory
- oversees and initiates procurement of lab supplies and equipment
- provides technical assistance and supervision of equipment
- negotiates and oversees equipment service contracts and repairs
