Mass General Brigham is looking to solve the problem of advancing home-based care, specifically for patients with dementia, by conducting studies that deploy trained and upskilled care team members, wearable biosensors, machine learning analytics, and other health information technology (HIT) to the home.
Requirements
- Familiarity with electronic health records, REDCap, and MS Office preferred.
- Experience in any physiology- or neurology-related field preferred.
- Responsible for database management: create, input data, query, import/export, and restructure database, forms and queries as needed using Excel, REDCap, and other software to meet the study team's needs.
- Competency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use REDCap to assist with data collection and analysis.
- May utilize machine learning analytics and other health information technology (HIT).
- Experience with wearable biosensors preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data abstraction from a variety of sources including patient medical records, hospital and outside clinical information systems, and stakeholder transcripts.
- Perform patient identification per study criteria.
- Administer patient-facing surveys and functional tests.
- Documents patient visits and procedures.
- Assists with interviewing study subjects.
- Verifies subject inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- May utilize Excel to assist in data collection efforts, database development, and descriptive data analysis.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree required and an interest in healthcare and the use of technology to support clinical care.
- Prior healthcare experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required for working with hospital leadership, patients, and study staff.
