Google for Health is looking to develop and support research programs in the AI for health space to help billions of people be healthier
Requirements
- 5 years of clinical experience with training
- 5 years of experience designing and leading research programs in the AI for health space, with 2 years of experience in health-related generative AI research
- Experience in the provision of patient care
- Experience working with AI and health in the private sector
- Experience with advanced training in a medical speciality
- Considerable experience with generative AI research and tools
Responsibilities
- Use your AI and research expertise to provide strategic clinical leadership to teams across Google, contributing both to overarching strategic direction as well as to individual product and research roadmaps
- Use clinical and domain expertise to provide clinical leadership, guidance, insights and direction on Google’s health-focused AI research projects, work on an embedded model with research, engineering, UX/UXR, product and partnerships teams
- Identify relevant clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and use cases related to the development and evaluation of AI models and use these to influence research and product development
- Respond to the needs of the business and projects prioritizing effort effectively, and work in a portfolio environment to bring your expertise to a range of endeavors
Other
- Doctorate degree in a clinical field (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to lead within your ecosystem, and to successfully bring health technology to the front line
- Excellent listening, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience working in complex, dynamic, ambiguous environments with cross-functional product development teams
- Experience working with partners, including C-suite leaders, Key Opinion Formers (KOF) and policy makers, or communicating with external audiences
