Heartflow is a medical technology company aiming to advance the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease by developing AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac tests and integrated heart care solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Typescript or JavaScript.
  • Strong cloud development experience.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (Vue.js preferred).
  • Excellent understanding of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, agile methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (Amazon Web Services or equivalent) for web application deployment.
  • Experience with WebGL or other 3D graphics libraries.
  • Experience with algorithm development

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, validate, and maintain robust and scalable web applications for the review and manipulation of 3D medical images.
  • Develop and design cloud-based services.
  • Improve our existing infrastructure and tooling: algorithmic pipelines, test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Participate with the rest of the team in release activities, as well as monitoring and supporting production.
  • Participate in cross-functional conversations with Product team, Process Engineering team, and other stakeholders for product design and clinical validations.

Other

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related is required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in web application development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Occasional on-call duty and application deployment responsibilities
  • Experience building regulated products, such as Software as a Medical Device, in accordance with FDA regulations.
