Our Technology Solutions division is searching for a Systems (Solutions) Architect to support a government customer. The primary responsibilities for the position are Provide end to end data management solutions including data profiling, data integration, data quality management and standardization, data validation and data processing.

Requirements

  • Experience with advanced IT technologies: Cloud Computing (Private, Public, and Hybrid) virtualization
  • Software defined networking
  • Software defined datacenters
  • Service-Oriented Architectures
  • Datacenter architectures, or web services
  • Knowledge of the cloud computing industry, including key technologies, vendors, and trends.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test and deploy comprehensive data integration solutions for structured and semi-structured data sets (i.e. XML).
  • Develop address matching / standardization and data quality solutions for multiple data sources for the division.
  • Architect the data warehouse solution including data staging, data modeling, star schema design and database layout.
  • Works directly with other systems administrators & engineers supporting all infrastructure, creates Network and System designs as required.
  • Assists with efforts to manage and maintain Backup and Recovery strategy.
  • Maintains and enhance current infrastructure systems, and propose new methods for managing and optimizing these systems, ensures system monitors and alerts are properly defined for all infrastructure systems.
  • Participates in disaster recovery planning and testing, proactively seeks to prevent problems or issues from arising by working with either in house staff or third party vendor.

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Clearance
  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Experience providing solutions to government customers in either the Fed/Civ or DoD space.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills at both the engineering and senior executive levels.
