Our client in Mountain View, CA is looking for an Cloud Architect – Advanced Development & Planning Engineer to design, manage, and oversee research projects on connected vehicles, architect and deploy cloud components tailored to project needs involving dynamic and large quantities of data with cost and performance in mind, and maintain cloud infrastructure to comply with the latest cybersecurity standards.
Requirements
- Cloud development experience in production settings.
- Strong AWS knowledge.
- Strong cloud architecture knowledge and experience.
- Experience on dealing with large quantities of dynamic data.
- Experience with image data.
- Proficiency in Python and Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD tools.
- Experience with containers.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy cloud system to handle dynamic data coming from vehicles.
- Incorporate storage solutions that can handle different types of data (text, images, etc.).
- Build test cases to automatically evaluate performance metrics.
- Stay up to date on the state-of-the-art in cloud ideas, components, and software, in collaboration with our researchers.
- Coding, proof-of-concept (POC) and demo applications with our test vehicle platform.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other teams across the research lab.
Other
- Master's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, Math, or related field.
- Masters with at least 1-2 years of experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with IoT systems, messaging protocols. and architectures.
