The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is seeking a Cloud BI & DevOps Enablement Manager to oversee the development and ongoing operations of the organization's Cloud-First initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency in cloud-based environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and IT leadership.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST, CIS Controls).
- Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge in serverless computing, microservices, and API management.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of Power BI, data visualization, and cloud analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and ongoing operations of the organization's Cloud-First initiatives.
- Act on the authority of the IT Director to manage cloud-based environments.
- Collaborate with other Technology Platform & OIS Technical Teams.
- Partner with various state agencies, including the State Data Center (DCS) and Enterprise Information Systems (EIS).
- Deliver IT solutions that support the shared programs of ODHS and OHA.
- Ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency in cloud-based environments.
- Lead teams in the implementation and management of cloud BI and DevOps solutions.
