Improve warfighter Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) analyst capabilities and communications systems for the Air Force by developing cloud-based solutions
Requirements
- Experience building solutions in AWS or Azure
- Experience managing Docker containers
- Experience creating and maintaining highly reliable and scalable systems to reduce issues and downtime
- Experience with modern security best practices for cloud infrastructure and networks
- Experience using Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and scripting tools such as Bash, PowerShell, JSON, and Python
- Experience using Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
- Cloud Certifications
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and maintain hybrid cloud capabilities
- Manage and communicate risk, utilizing ability to strategically think, develop plans, and orchestrate execution
- Research the environment and recommend tools and capabilities from various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources
- Share expertise with teammates to help the customer overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud
- Ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process
- Identify new opportunities to build cloud-based solutions to help the client meet their evolving needs
- Develop critical systems for the Air Force
Other
- TS/SCI clearance
- Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- Ability to obtain an IAT or IAM Level II or III Certification such as CompTIA Security+ Certification, before start date
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, to interact with clients and lead, train, and mentor junior system administrators and cloud engineers
- Ability to analyze test results and effectively communicate with stakeholders, developers, and operations teams to continuously improve the health, stability, and reliability of the system
