Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to help build and operate software that supports HPE server hardware, specifically focusing on the Compute Ops Management (COM) SaaS product and the COM Secure Gateway product. The role involves managing AWS infrastructure, modernizing deployment systems, and ensuring the reliability and speed of these systems.

Requirements

• Python, Go, AWS (specifically EKS, EC2, Networking, IAM, S3, RDS, MSK, OpenSearch, and Cloudfront)
• Proficient in creating and managing virtual machines.
• Skilled in building, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications.
• Experienced in designing, developing, and consuming HTTP-based APIs.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and automating AWS infrastructure
• Hands-on experience operating, administering, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.

Responsibilities

• Working with a global team to develop and support our COM Secure Gateway product, which is a virtual appliance we provide to our customers
• Managing AWS infrastructure in multiple accounts using infrastructure-as-code automation
• Modernizing mature build and deployment systems to make them fast and reliable
• Develop production-quality software
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure
• Understand how a deployment pipeline works from beginning to end
