GDIT is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support USSOCOM at Fort Liberty, NC, to deliver simple solutions to complex problems by tailoring cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of their clients, ensuring today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.
Requirements
- 5 years of IT and/or software experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Worked with Concourse, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity or other Continuous Integration tools
- Experience in VMware vSphere / ESXi / NSX-T
- Experience with networking and related technologies (e.g. load balancing / DNS / SSL / firewalls / NAT / SDN)
- Experienced in using Git
- Experience in release management
Responsibilities
- automating the installation, configuration, and maintenance of platform services.
- manage system tuning for reliability and efficiency
- guide and manage software releases for new features and support users through consolidation.
- Occasionally performs the administrative operation of server hardware and software.
- Ensures system security and executes practices and procedures.
- Troubleshoots system related problems.
- Remains current in operating systems/software analysis and technological developments and applications.
Other
- DOD 8570 IAT Level II required (Level III preferred)
- Participated in or led agile development teams
- In depth understanding of Dev Ops methodologies
- Experience supporting production systems using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
- Active Top Secret clearance required to start and must be able to obtain TS/SCI
