Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Zoom’s core platform and applications
Requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge of AWS services, Linux batch command, ELK stack and container orchestration (i.e. K8s, Docker)
- Possess hands-on experience on scripting, such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, GO
- Have the ability to monitor, debug and automate routine tasks
- Being familiar to K8S deployment and management
- Bringing strong Cloud and Linux/Unix knowledge and hands-on experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker
Responsibilities
- Designing, deploying, monitoring and scaling Zoom Platform services
- Improving the whole lifecycle of Zoom Platform services from planning to go live strategy
- Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Building a resilient and scalable service infrastructure to accommodate region based data centers
- Optimizing current CI/CD process and streamline automation effort for server provisioning and deployment
- Being familiar to K8S deployment and management
- Supporting test automation and deployment strategy to optimize service performance and ensure product quality
Other
- Hold a BS/BA/MS (CS/CE/EE/IS or related majors)
- Have 2 years experience on Cloud Based DevOps or SRE
- Be willing to learn, be proactive, and think creatively
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment
