NEOGOV is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join their team and work closely with the product owner and team of other software engineers in delivering new features and capabilities to one of their SaaS products for their Power division.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with AWS Cloudformation, Autoscaling, CDK, ECS, Terraform, Serverless etc.
- Strong Cloud fundamentals with emphasis on best practices
- Software development experience with Typescript, C-Sharp, Java or similar language.
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, MSBuild, Git
- Desire to work in an operations environment that aspires to DevOps and SRE principals
- Experience working in a “compliant” environment like CJIS or FedRAMP is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work as a software engineer developing, delivering and maintaining features such as infrastructure as code, our build and release platform, or customer-facing features
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems
- Maintain and ensure compliance in a high performance production environment
- Deliver your work in a reliable and maintainable manner by writing clean, testable code
- Actively participate in planning work for the team and Identity ways to improve the team
- Maintain, test and implement disaster recovery procedures.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades and updates to maximize system efficiency while minimizing downtime.
