Citizens is looking to modernize the way it stores and accesses data by implementing cloud-based solutions. The Enterprise Technology & Security Summer Internship Program aims to provide hands-on experience to emerging technologists in cloud engineering to support this modernization effort.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of one or more of the following programming languages, frameworks, libraries, and data formats: Java, JavaScript, C, Python, .Net, Node, SQL
• Experience with cloud engineering via internships or coursework, which could include: developing cloud solutions, cloud architecture, developing and implementing cloud adoption plans, and cloud application design
• Cyber security coursework preferred
• Exposure to one or more of the following preferred: AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, IaC tools, Kibana, DataDog, Python or JavaScript

Responsibilities

• Help to support the implementation of cloud-based solutions throughout the organization.
• Offer technical support to cloud-based solutions end-users and partners.
• Assist with monitoring the performance of cloud applications and solutions; analyzing opportunities for improvement.

Other

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, or other technology-related degree
• Expected graduation date of May 2027
• Minimum GPA 3.0
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment; good interpersonal and communication skills
