Citi is looking to transform its technology by leveraging game-changing Cloud capabilities to drive agility, efficiency, and innovation, and is seeking a Cloud Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing its public cloud strategy.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of public cloud services adoption at scale, including AWS/GCP Observability
- Expert-level understanding of Google Cloud Observability: Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Tracing, Cloud Alerting
- Expert-level understanding of AWS Observability Tools: CloudWatch, OpenSearch
- Experience with Open-source Observability Tools: Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience with Observability Frameworks: OTel, OpAMP
- Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, Harness, Tekton, Jenkins
- Programming language expertise in Python and Go
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical contributions within a product team focused on the Public Cloud Foundation, supporting Citi's secure and enterprise-scale adoption of Public Cloud.
- Contribute to a team of cloud engineers and full-stack software developers, building and deploying solutions that advance the public cloud strategy.
- Identify and develop automation initiatives to improve processes related to public cloud services consumption, enhancing client satisfaction and delivering business value.
- Collaborate with teams across Citi's technology landscape to ensure alignment between public cloud initiatives and broader business goals.
- Contribute to defining and measuring success criteria for service availability and reliability within the specific product domain.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards, policies, and regulations, prioritizing the protection of Citi's reputation, clients, and assets.

- At least 6 plus years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Excellent Communication: The ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
