EPAM Georgia is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Manager (GCP) to strengthen their team and deliver GCP projects while driving team development
Requirements
- Background in software engineering or systems engineering with a focus on cloud computing platforms
- Knowledge of public cloud computing services
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle and best practices in monitoring and security
- Experience managing production infrastructure using tools like Terraform
- Proficiency in at least one build automation tool (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, GoCD, etc.)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools
- Competency in managing and leading a technical team
Responsibilities
- Manage the GCP Cloud discipline within the region
- Create and execute a long-term vision for the GCP unit
- Define the organizational and leadership structure within the team
- Recruit cloud engineers and optimize project assignments
- Develop and sustain a team of high-performing Cloud Engineers
- Supervise team expansion and assess performance outcomes
- Act as the principal technical liaison to clients, ensuring their requirements are understood and delivered precisely
