Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network administration, with a strong foundation in operating systems, networking protocols, and storage systems
- Proven expertise in AWS networking services, including the design and implementation of highly available, secure, and scalable cloud network architectures
- Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including WAN, BGP, routing, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- In-depth experience with AWS services, including IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, ECS/EKS, Elastic Beanstalk, and Migration Services
- Hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices and scripting/programming languages, such as Ruby, Python, Perl, and PowerShell
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional, or equivalent cloud certification
Responsibilities
- Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for all applicable production systems and processes
- Facilitate the acquisition and integration of new technology into the environment
- Identify and recommend new technology value to the organization
- Research technical concepts and educate other team members as needed
- Present research / proposed projects to IT management
- Participate in technology evaluations
- Provide expertise on application integration, design, security, reliability
