Booz Allen is looking to solve the problem of turning Infrastructure-as-Code into a secure, highly available platform that delivers their Progressive Web App (PWA) to DoD customers worldwide, while meeting FedRAMP and DoD Cloud Computing SRG requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with web development and Amazon Web Services
- 1+ years of experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code and developing modern JavaScript applications
- Experience automating security controls and compliance checkpoints
- Experience setting-up and maintaining Continuous-Integration or Continuous-Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience scripting in Python, TypeScript, or Bash for automation tasks and tooling
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Ability to build and secure Linux-based systems
Responsibilities
- Assisting with designing Virtual Private Cloud networks and CloudFront edge policies
- Writing service-worker code that keeps the app lightning-fast offline
- Automating everything, including golden-image pipelines, Terraform deployments, CI/CD scans, and patching
- Guiding decisions on encryption strategy, logging, and cost optimization
- Mentoring junior developers and presenting elegant diagrams to security auditors
- Prototyping new ideas, such as containerizing the API, adding WebAssembly to the PWA, or piloting an Impact-Level-4 deployment
- Ensuring the platform meets FedRAMP and DoD Cloud Computing SRG requirements
Other
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field and 2+ years of experience with cloud deployment
- Ability to explain complex cloud and security concepts to developers, stakeholders, and auditors
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA Security+ and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Certifications
