Replit is building the world's most ubiquitous AI coding agent to democratize software development and enable anyone to build applications using natural language. The Cloud Services team needs to be led to build and manage Replit's first-party cloud infrastructure, enabling users to build, scale, and succeed on the platform.
Requirements
- Experience building reliable distributed systems using GCP or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with AI/agentic systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage databases, application storage, app publishing and hosting, development/production environment splitting, custom domains, and more.
- Leverage our unique cloud infrastructure to build differentiated full product experiences, helping non-technical or semi-technical users remove roadblocks to success.
- Leverage AI agents to proactively optimize or suggest app improvements on latency, reliability, SEO, and more.
- Be part of engineering leadership, steering teams towards the highest impact work and supporting initiatives across the company.
- Pitch in on projects, on-call duties, and other team activities.

- Be decisive on team strategy and direction, helping Replit achieve company goals and its long term mission of bringing a billion software creators online.
- Set the pace and drive urgency in delivery, to help us win in a hyper competitive market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent real-world experience in security engineering roles
- 7+ years of experience in software with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Previous experience at a high-growth startup.
- Problem-solving mindset: Ability to approach complex operational challenges systematically and devise effective solutions
