Tiber Technologies is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and services, playing a key role in the implementation of scalable and resilient solutions on cloud platforms.
Requirements
- Experience with Java and python
- Experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products
- Experience with Map/Reduce, Hadoop (HDFS), Hive, Pig, JavaScript
- Experience with Big-Data Cloud Scalability
- Experience with Accumulo internals
- Experience with Agile development
- Experience with Linux fundamentals and knowledge
Responsibilities
- playing a key role in the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based applications and services
- leading the implementation of scalable and resilient solutions on cloud platforms
- working closely with cross-functional teams
- designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms
- developing compute cluster monitoring tools
- configuring, tuning, and testing Accumulo in many configurations (>200 node clusters)
- enabling continuous monitoring and CI/CD testing
Other
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field is required
- 3-5 years of experience
- Hadoop or Cloud certification is required
