Peraton is looking for an experienced Cloud Software Engineer to join their Cyber Missions team to contribute to a suite of innovative, web-based applications that streamline and automate data management for Intelligence Community (IC) data custodians, ensuring compliant data movement, integration, and reuse across the customer's mission space.
Requirements
- Shall have at least eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
- Shall have at least six (6) years of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++
- Shall have at least three (3) years of experience in software integration and software Unit Testing, to include developing and implementing test plans and test scripts.
- Shall have at least five (5) years of experience developing software for UNIX/Linux (Redhat versions 3-5) operating systems.
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate
- AWS Certified Machine Learning - Associate or Specialty
- AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Experience with AWS Cloud services, Quarkus, PrimeFaces, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of enterprise-level cloud and web applications.
- Use Java as your primary language to design, build, and maintain software solutions.
- Collaborate within an Agile team to define requirements, assign tasks, and track progress.
- Work across the full stack - from backend logic to front-end design - using modern frameworks like Quarkus and PrimeFaces.
- Expand your technical expertise while solving real-world challenges in data automation and compliance.
