Microsoft's US Public Sector Industries DIB Team is looking to consolidate, simplify, and accelerate its presence across the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) landscape. The role aims to empower commercial contractors within the DIB to undergo digital transformation by designing and delivering secure, scalable data solutions that drive mission outcomes, enhance customer experience, and contribute to Microsoft's growth.
Requirements
- 6+ years of technical expertise in Azure Data Services, Synapse, Databricks, Fabric, and Purview.
- Proficient in integrating Azure AI, Copilot, and Studio Agents into data workflows
- Experience with real-time intelligence, Databricks, and agentic design patterns
- Ability to lead AI transformation across mission workloads
- Integrating Zero Trust principles, data governance, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ITAR, CMMC, FedRAMP).
- Ensure data security across GCC, GCCH, and sovereign cloud environments and collaborate with security CSAs to deliver Purview, Information Protection, and Insider Risk Management capabilities.
- Experience supporting secure data movement (e.g., Azure Data Transfer), continuous monitoring, and regulatory alignment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the modernization of customer data estates using Microsoft’s cloud-native services by designing and deploying secure, scalable architectures with Azure Data Services, Synapse, Fabric, and Purview.
- Proficient in integrating Azure AI, Copilot, and Studio Agents into data workflows
- Experience with real-time intelligence, Databricks, and agentic design patterns
- Ability to lead AI transformation across mission workloads
- Supporting both commercial defense contractors and federal agencies through tailored data solutions, integrating Zero Trust principles, data governance, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ITAR, CMMC, FedRAMP).
- Ensure data security across GCC, GCCH, and sovereign cloud environments and collaborate with security CSAs to deliver Purview, Information Protection, and Insider Risk Management capabilities.
- Experience supporting secure data movement (e.g., Azure Data Transfer), continuous monitoring, and regulatory alignment.

- Experience translating complex technical insights for executive and mission stakeholders and architecting and delivering data platform modernization in regulated or classified environments.
- Familiarity with MCEM, Unified Delivery, and Factory engagement models with ability to influence engineering, sales, and delivery leadership.
