Microsoft's Global Channel Partner Sales organization aims to drive revenue growth and market share within the Small and Medium Enterprises and Channels (SME&C) segment by empowering partners to build and sell Microsoft AI, Cloud applications, services, and devices. The Partner Solution Architect will guide these partners in developing innovative, scalable, and profitable offerings that align with Microsoft's AI and Cloud priorities, ultimately accelerating cloud growth and digital transformation for SMEs.
Requirements
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
- 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- 4+ years experience working on technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Guide Solution Development & Activation - You’ll lead the development and activation of new or enhanced partner offerings that align with Microsoft Cloud priorities.
- Empower Innovation - You’ll run technical innovation workshops, tech briefings, and envisioning sessions to build technical intensity across partner teams.
- Strategic Sales Enablement - You’ll play a key role in activating transformational deals by providing architectural guidance, resolving technical blockers, and enhancing solution design.
- Champion Technical Excellence - You’ll guide partners through architecture design sessions, proof-of-concepts, and MVP builds.
- Serve as the strategic voice of channel Partners with Engineering and Business Groups (BGs), influencing road-maps, feedback loops, and product direction.
- Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Management - You’ll build long-term engagements with strategic partners, influencing their adoption of Microsoft technologies.
- Partner Enablement & Business Acumen - You’ll coach broader Partner technical teams to ensure pre-sales, deployment, and consumption are embedded in solution development.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting + OR equivalent experience.
