Requirements
- Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (ex: Python, Java)
- Knowledge of Cloud Architecture & Cloud Computing (ex: Kubernetes, Docker, Redhat Openstack, Openshift, Aws, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of PI Management tools, event-driven design, and architecture (ex: Kafka, Spark Flink)
- Knowledge of Network Architecture Linux, transport layer, fabric, & orchestration
- Familiarity with Data formats (JSON/YAML) & engineering (database, SQL)
- Familiarity with Source Control GitHub, marketplace
- Cloud Computing: configuring, deploying & operating public cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)

Other
- Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 2026 to August 2026 working a full-time schedule
- Attendance at Verizon’s Irving V Teamer for a Day and currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree majoring in Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or related majors with a completion date between December 2028 and June 2029
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
- Willing and able to travel
- Willing and able to relocate
