Atlas Copco North America Inc (ACNA) is looking to hire a Cloud Systems Engineer to assure the delivery of Hosting and cloud services with the required quality, reliability, speed, and cost, fulfilling stakeholder expectations to drive the business on their digital journey with an exceptional end-user experience.
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of the different hosting technologies and solutions
- Experience in Azure IaaS, PaaS, AD integration
- Experience in integrating business Applications and Services to Azure is highly desirable
- Experienced in setup and management servers in Azure, migration of on-premise servers to Azure and/or partners data center
- Strong background in IT operations with experience in in Virtualization technologies (eg. VMWare)
- Knowledge of the Windows server family, server/data recovery and backup solutions, DFS
- Server management, server monitoring, patching including middleware and reporting
Responsibilities
- Ownership of the Data Center and Cloud Operations support in terms of delivery, stability, and compliance to support the business daily operations.
- Monitoring Server and Cloud solutions system performance on a daily basis and identifying any irregularities or issues.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain high levels of performance and availability.
- Server Compliance and Lifecycle monitoring, keep Operating System at supported and licensed versions and Hardware has proper support from vendor or valid maintenance contract.
- Work closely with external partners to deliver cloud services that meet the business goals and Group IT strategy.
- Collaboration on projects providing operational support, solution design and recommendations, from server migrations to applications transformation.
- Alignment with Solutions & Architecture to participate in solution design, continuous improvement and execute the global strategy.

- Experience of successfully delivering IT services, projects, and support.
- Working knowledge of value and use of Standard IT processes and methodologies (i.e. ITIL, PMI and SDLC).
