Future Metals LLC is looking to improve its operations through enhancement projects in a lean endeavor, optimize work methods and efficiency, implement new processes and equipment, and achieve operational goals through strategic projects. The intern will support these efforts by conducting studies, designing and implementing strategies, and analyzing data.

Responsibilities
- Conducting studies, i.e. time studies, locomotion studies, to be used in enhancement projects in a lean endeavor.
- Design and implement ergonomic work methods & efficiency optimization strategies.
- Be a key role player in the implementation of new processes, equipment, and products.
- Value Stream Mapping and Visual Management.
- Initiate, plan, execute, and control strategic projects to accomplish operational goals.
Other
- Must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Future Metals will consider students who have completed at least four semesters of college in the following major: Engineering
- Excellent verbal, written and telephonic communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
