Kinaxis is looking to solve the problem of improving the quality and reliability of their algorithms in the Maestro platform, specifically in the analytics engine, to support their customers in supply chain management.
Requirements
- Experience in data science and Machine Learning
- Programming and scripting techniques/languages experience (C++, C-Sharp, Python)
- Knowledge and experience in relational database design and usage (SQL, complex joins)
- Machine Learning Techniques: Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning methods, model evaluation, and optimization.
- Python Libraries: Hands-on experience with tools like Pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn.
- Visualization Skills: Ability to create clear and insightful visualizations to present data patterns and results effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to verify and validate heuristic algorithms to ensure they meet quality and performance benchmarks.
- Design and develop tools to process and analyze large datasets.
- Contribute to creating systems that help improve the quality and reliability of our algorithms.
Other
- Completion of at least 3rd year of studies in Computer Science / Software Engineering
- Ability to ‘think outside of the box’ in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptionally strong analytical skills
- Flexible work options, including being in the Ottawa, Canada office at least three days a week
- Must be currently enrolled in full-time education or, if a recent/upcoming graduate, graduation date must be within 12 months of the placement end date
