Motorola Solutions is looking to enable customer reports in Tableau, collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements, build data mapping, and deliver reporting solutions that meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of data management and reporting techniques; experience with Power BI is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of basic Python development.
- Knowledge of Git.
- Ability to understand and report on complex data and handle all edge cases.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Airflow, DBT, or Cron jobs.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and understand reporting requirements to generate business insights for users.
- Review and assess existing reports for data usage to create common data sets.
- Create reports in Power BI, improving efficiency where possible.
- Assist with collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data under the supervision of experienced analysts or data scientists.
- Prepare reports and create data visualizations.
- Help identify trends or patterns that inform business decisions.
- Manage automated regulatory, financial, and executive reporting processes.

- Must be a US Citizen: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program that includes a Co-operative (Co-op) work component.
- Pursuing a university degree in Business, Finance, Math, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
