Volvo Group is looking to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future, and is seeking a Software Engineer Co-op to contribute to real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in software development.
Requirements
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, including dependency injection and inheritance.
- CANoe/CANalyzer experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Self-motivated and open-minded to learning new skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications using C-Sharp and .NET technologies.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles, including dependency injection and inheritance, to enhance software design.
- Collaborate with the team to implement and manage source control using Git, including pull-request workflows.
- Participate in the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions using Azure pipelines and services.
- Write clean, testable, scalable code using .NET programming languages
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Co-ops are not enrolled in academic courses during their co-op rotation and may work up to 40 hours per week
- Must have at least 30 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.75
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
