Eastman Kodak Company is looking for a Coating and Product Quality Engineer to provide excellence in day-to-day manufacturing support, own process conditions for coating film, improve film physical quality and uniformity, interface with upstream and downstream departments, and participate in new product development initiatives.
Requirements
- Product assessment and improvement of both physical quality and performance opportunities (yield improvements, waste reductions, etc).
- Work with process engineers to determine the process conditions that result in optimum film performance; areas include coating, web conveyance, unwinding/winding, roll handling, electrostatics, quality inspection and reporting, data transfer from operation to operation.
- Product development and accreditation of new business opportunities or features.
- Demonstrated ability (through work experience or academic/internship/co-op) to utilize engineering skills across multiple concurrently active projects.
- Demonstrated aptitude to plan, organize, schedule, and direct projects and tasks and adapt to changing conditions.
- Demonstrated aptitude for trouble-shooting issues and assist in root-cause analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
- day-to-day manufacturing support (quality, troubleshooting, and testing) of current sensitized photographic products

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering within the last 2-5 years.
