The Cobol Mainframe Developer, AVP, is needed to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs, contributing to application systems analysis, design, development, and programming activities within Citi's Technology team to ensure alignment with business needs and industry standards.

Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimate project timelines and costs, and manage IT planning and risk technology aspects.
- Lead the development and implementation of new or revised applications to meet specific business needs.
- Oversee all phases of the development lifecycle, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Provide user and operational support for business applications.
- Utilize deep expertise in application development to analyze complex problems, evaluate business and system processes, and apply industry standards.
- Recommend and implement security measures post-implementation to ensure system design and functionality.
- Collaborate with users, clients, and other technology groups to recommend advanced programming solutions and assist with customer-facing systems.

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Proven experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or University degree or equivalent experience
