The Department of Design & Construction, Division of Infrastructure, is seeking College Aides to support various sections within the Design Unit by creating drawings, assisting engineers, managing archives, conducting surveys, and coordinating AutoCAD drawings.
Requirements
- familiar with AutoCAD will be considered an advantage
Responsibilities
- create drawings from basic data and sketches
- assist engineers in collecting and selecting data
- manage map archives
- engage in regular surveys
- oversee the coordination of AutoCAD drawings with utilities and consulting firms
Other
- must be a student enrolled in an accredited college or graduate school to be eligible
- Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position.
- Preference will be given to candidates with civil engineering major.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
