Leica Biosystems is looking to accelerate the development of AI-enabled diagnostic solutions for cancer diagnostics and precision medicine, and is seeking a Commercial Product Leader to drive this effort.
Requirements
- Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD)
- 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or Product Management within life sciences or diagnostics
- Demonstrated success in leading clinical trial execution and product lifecycle ownership, preferably for AI, digital pathology, or computational diagnostics
- Exceptional project and stakeholder management skills with proven results in a matrixed, fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial orientation with the ability to translate medical insights into product and partnership strategy
- Previous experience in AI/ML medical devices, oncology diagnostics, or pharma/biotech partnerships
- Formal training or certification in product management (e.g., Pragmatic, AIPMM, PMBOK)
Responsibilities
- Own full lifecycle Product Management end-to-end lifecycle of AI-based diagnostic and clinical trial tools
- Define product vision and success metrics through deep clinical and user insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with pharma partner expectations
- Educate HCPs via MSL teams, drive guideline inclusion (e.g., NCCN, ASCO, ESMO, CAP)
- Lead post-market publication strategies to demonstrate real-world clinical and economic impact
- Drive disciplined execution and cross-functional program leadership using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools
- Lead the clinical evidence strategy for AI-enabled diagnostics by helping design studies, selecting sites, overseeing performance
