National General is looking to support the development of admitted and non-admitted insurance products, services or recommendations to achieve profit and growth targets for products, and contribute to the overall financials and health of products.
Requirements
- 7 or more years of experience including Excess and Surplus (E&S) products (Preferred)
- Experience with product development lifecycle
- Knowledge of pricing and risk management
- Experience with complex work assignments and problem resolution
- Expertise in providing recommendations to leaders on initiatives and strategic fit
- Experience working with stakeholders across functional AORs
- Knowledge of operational parameters for new products/projects
Responsibilities
- Execute strategies to ensure the integration and execution of product, pricing and risk management for countrywide usage
- Design and support innovations in all aspects of the product development lifecycle
- Manage / perform complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels and navigate obstacles to deliver the work product
- Leverage expertise to provide recommendations to leaders on initiatives and strategic fit
- Work directly with stakeholders both internally and externally as well as across functional AORs including marketing, sales and field product organization to align on strategies and execution methods
- Responsible for seeking out resolutions to barriers
- Determine or execute operational parameters to get new products/projects implemented
