Cushing Terrell needs to ensure that HVAC/Hydronic and building automation systems are installed and perform as designed by the Engineer, and to provide interns with real-world experience in this process.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, Bluebeam
- Work within a building automation system (BAS).
Responsibilities
- Test, start, and document systems at client location while coordinating with contractors, internal team members, and customers
- Work within a building automation system (BAS).
- Read and interpret construction documents and materials
- Learn how to tackle the day-to-day challenges of a commissioning technician
- Learn first-hand how your testing and verification ensures the building is functioning correctly when the owner occupies the building.
- Learn to read and interpret HVAC systems and controls, and proper reporting of various equipment.

- Completion of 3+ years of a A&E related undergraduate program
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with other team members
- A passion for client-focused design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a talent for balancing graceful oral and written communication between Cushing Terrell teams and our clients
